❋ Collaborative EnergyWe want our clients to be part of the team, which means open communication and collaboration throughout the representation. Be prepared to articulate what you hope to accomplish by hiring a lawyer.
❋ How are we compensated for our legal services?Our goal is to be thoughtful about aligning the cost of representation with each specific matter. Whether contingency fee, hourly, flat fee, or some hybrid fee structure is appropriate, we expect to discuss this openly with prospective clients before a fee contract is entered. We want you to ask us, “How much will this cost?”
❋ Referral to Other LawyersAfter representing and trying cases for clients nationally for nearly 30 years, our lawyers have extensive relationships with attorneys who practice in specialties or areas in which we do not- both here in Georgia and nationally and globally. If we cannot help you, we will try to help you find someone with the appropriate skill set whereever needed. We frequently work on cases in other states by motion.
